I barely noticed the curtains..i was too stunned by the gorgeous view and the size of your bedroom! What a stunning home! Now that I looked back, the curtains look great!

Most of the curtain stores we went to told us that roman shades usually stand on their own because they are so beautiful and they look like a valance when you pull them up. But I really want them with my curtains anyway Do you have pics of your shades? Where did you buy them?
We were told this too...the Roman shades are gorgeous but I think we need to warm up our living room a little ... it looks a little bare. Todd thinks its fine...but I am looking for a soft curtain!
We used the designers at Aboffs in Syosset. They are paint store and then have designers who do window treatments in a different section. They do the measuring and installation....they were great....they did 9 of our windows.
I don't have pictures yet....we still haven't found the camera....it is still in a few of the boxes that haven't been unpacked...maybe next week!!

THank You . Actually, we do have blinds, they are up in the pics, but I don't like them, that's why we are looking for the roman shades.

perfect.....and i am still so jealous of your house....we keep the curtains closed in our bedroom because when we look out, we see a nasty-looking lawn with a sad little tree

ok Kathy..you still havent said what part of Suffolk youre in...?? we dont want an exact address...just what area is that? how bad was it when you bought...did you knock down walls to make that one big room...and did you add those windows!? Absolutely stunning!!!!!!! Congratulations!!!
one more question: how in the heck do you deal with the sun coming from that skylite directly over your bed?? I would have to sleep with sunglasses on...LOL
