My bridal shower was this past Saturday!! It was so much fun and my mom, aunt, and BMs did such an AMAZING job putting everything together. It looked phenomenal! They had it at the Irish Center of New York in Long Island City and it was perfect. The room was very nice and they had use of all their supplies and their kitchen. My mom catered herself and also made some delicious alcohol for us! She made white wine sangria and this delicious drink made of Sprite, Sherbert, and vodka. It was wonderful and DANGEROUS! LOL! My aunt also made one of those barbie doll cakes in my FAVORITE flavor- Red velvet! It was so cool! I got SO many great gifts I don't even know where to start!!! About 1/3 of them were from my mom- she went crazy overboard. I actually got TWO Margaritaville makers! LOL! I have to return one. Then afterwards, we went out for drinks with my aunts and cousins and had a blast! By around 4 AM, I was TOAST! LOL! FH didn't have his keys, but he came home around 4:30, right after I got in and I slept right through the doorbell and phone ringing. He had to call his brother at 5 AM to come help him break into the house! Haha! Here's a few pictures and then a link to the rest! Enjoy!!
ETA: I forgot about the favors my mom came up with! They were teacups and saucers with little packets of instant coffee and tea and spoons dipped in honey and chocolate. They were amazing!!!
