I had a wonderful Day!!!!

I got so many wonderful things, including the copper pot set I really, really, really wanted from Williams-Sonoma (including a few extra copper pans besides the set).

It was at The Country House in Stony Brook..people are still calling up my house to tell me how amazing the food was, and how much fun they had, and how they loved the champagne with blueberries and strawberries in the bottom of the glasses.

The first two pics are postcards from the restaurant...the first pic is of the entry where hors d'eovers are served...decorated for the winter holidays...the second pic is of the dining area where we were seated for the shower...the second pic is decorated for the spring, and not the winter (my shower had all winter decor).

The close up of the platter I'm holding up was a gift to my grandparents some 70 years ago on their wedding day.

Kathy - I responded to your other Country House post. I had my shower there, as well. The place is amazing!! My husband proposed to me there and we go on Christmas Eve mostly. Such a beautiful, special place!!!

Great pictures Kathy! I heard its a great place for a shower and they decorated it so nice for XMAS. Flowerfield is supposed to be so nice. Congrats on your upcoming wedding! Is that your cat? I love that pic you have of the cat!
