I got so many wonderful things, including the copper pot set I really, really, really wanted from Williams-Sonoma (including a few extra copper pans besides the set).
It was at The Country House in Stony Brook..people are still calling up my house to tell me how amazing the food was, and how much fun they had, and how they loved the champagne with blueberries and strawberries in the bottom of the glasses.
The first two pics are postcards from the restaurant...the first pic is of the entry where hors d'eovers are served...decorated for the winter holidays...the second pic is of the dining area where we were seated for the shower...the second pic is decorated for the spring, and not the winter (my shower had all winter decor).
The close up of the platter I'm holding up was a gift to my grandparents some 70 years ago on their wedding day.
My eyes look grey/black (they're really blue) because I had major red eye...so I was messing around with the pic and this ended up happening...oh well.

Wow, that place looks beautiful decorated for the holidays! Was it a surprise shower? I would be blown away if my shower were at a place like that!

Thanks ladies! It definately wasn't a surprise, my mother involved me with the planning when she booked the Country House.

The Country House is so pretty! FI and I had dinner there two years ago-it was really romantic. Very nice shower pics! You better take goooood care of that platter..
