Pics from my first fitting!

Yay! I had my first fitting! The dress actually fit and the shoes I bought match soooo perfectly! I only need alterations for the hem and the bustle. If I lose any weight they will have to take it in, but I'd gladly pay money for that! In the second pic you can see my veil and tiara, but don't mind my silly hair. In the last picture you can see how it looks with the bustle. She said it's a french bustle, but basically the whole train is turned up inside the dress so you don't see it at all. I like how it looks because it doesn't take away from the detail on the back of the dress. Oh and the best part--I don't need to wear a bra!

I had to get rid of the pictures--FH has been lurking!

I think that's an inverted bustle...a French is usually a pouf (or 2 or 3) in the back.

my next fitting isn't for another month. there isn't much to do really.

karen-when I took the shoes out, the seamstress said OMG they're perfect!
I can't believe how well they match.

I thought it was inverted too, but I swear she said it was a french bustle. maybe it's an inverted french bustle?

Your dress is gorgeous. I love the working on the front. I see you got your veil from glamgal.com. How was it working with them. I ordered my custom made veil from them a couple of weeks ago. Let me know how you liked working with them. Congratulations again on the dress, it fits you perfectly
