Ok, I am one that does not appreciate pix w/o people in them, so where are you and your DH. I like the scenery and all, but I want to see someone I know. Thanks for sharing tho'

michelle...I know...I am sorry...i bought a new camera since mine was over the top broke...I have to unpack your pics...I promise that I will express mail them to you this weekend...

shamma...we only took one picture of us...its awful...but I will post it for you...can you see the bags under my eyes...and my messed up hair...I just want to add that there had been a hurricane there a few weeks before and the solar panels had blown off the roof...so I couldn't shower with hot water until the last day...and I shovelled 6 feet of sand by myself to get the garage door opened...so thats why i look so bad...

Where in mexico??

We are about 2 hours from Progresso so we plan on heading down there soon. Corpus Christi is like Texico!

Laurie...we are in Puerto Penasco (Rocky Point) in Sonora on the gulf of California...

DH calls it the armpit of Mexico...b/c thats what it looks like if you look at Baja as the arm

we cross at the border...Mexicali (in Mexico) and Calexico (California) - I love the play on words....

oh that's neat! The play on words is interesting. Because I know NY spanglish but I don't speak Texican so I have had trouble with employment here! lol

Luckily we are only here for a few more months!

DH learned Spanish in Spain...and even though he lived in Mexico for a few years...he still doesn't know some Mexican words...

like Tecate...the beer...is that an eagle? b/c of the symbol...
