Pics in Dumbo

I know I have seen some girls on here that have or were thinking of taking their E-Pics in Dumbo Brooklyn.
I really want to take photos there on the day of our wedding. Someone just told me that you need to pay a fee in order to take photos there.
Anyone know about what that fee is?

Thanks Ladies!

Hey! We just did our E-pics there with Thomas Paul and we didn't have to pay anything!

I took some of my epics at DUMBO (pics in album) and we did not have to pay a fee. Also, we took them at a couple of locations within that area.

Thanks for the info, its even better if there is no fee. Seems I may have been mis-informed!

Did you ladies take pics in the Brooklyn Bidge Park too where the Foundry is.......maybe it is just there you need pay a fee for?

Yes we were in the Park but not where the Foundry is. If I remember, we tried that area and a security gaurd came by so we didn't go in. But we took pics infront of Grimaldis, the gas station across the street with the old school cars, by the water and the bar at Water Street Restaurant before we went to the MET.

We took our pics in DUMBO and didn't have to pay anything.

At one point we were inside a building shell and someone told us to stop taking photos so we just moved on to another spot. It was a great place for epics!

This is the spot we were booted from:

We got some great variety of shots:

Thanks Sandra....and your pics came out Beautiful!

that building shell is the Tobacco Warehouse you can actually rent it for a wedding reception. We thought about it but too expensive after all the rentals.

Thanks for the info girls, this is a help! Sounds like your free to take pics all around and maybe you just need a permit for the Tobacco Warehouse.
