I'm pretty allergic to flowes so I'm only using a standard candelabra. Any pics of that as a centerpiece only - I'm worried that it's going to be too bare. What do you think? Also, I've never sat at a table with one. Can you see across to the other people?
Thanks!

Re: Pics of Candelabras
can you use fake flowers to decorate with? you can also use different types of candles. my family and FH's family is very against high CPs because of the limited sight factor, so i'm using low. but everyone has their own opinions, and many people love the look of candelabras.
i was going to say the same thing silk flowers? or silk rose petals sprinkled on the table with candles???

Re: Pics of Candelabras
i have a few on my computer at hoem and will post later - this was my iniitial plan to have a high candelabra with wither 3 or 4 mint julep cups full of roses or votives and petals around the base
i ended up using silk - just because i couldn't use candelabras - the ac came fromt he side of the room and would blow out taper candles
if you want to use flowers - john from Flower michelle did a great job with my silk wedding flowers no one could tell they were fake - they were not cheap though

Re: Pics of Candelabras
My sister used them to save money on flowers. She just had to rent them from her florist - Wick's in Baldwin. They did a small greenery wreath type of thing around the base with a few flowers....I thought they were fine and didn't block too much view across the table...I don't have a pic of just the candelabra but I think I have some where you can see them in the background....sorry i don't have a great picture of it but you can see it on the table in the background of this pic....this was the very end of the night so obv. the candles had burnt down quite a bit by this point....
