We went to Colonial Florist in Bellmore to see a sample of the centerpiece and here it is.. I booked them immediately, they are so wonderful to work with, I brought in minimal ideas and Irene knew exactly what I wanted...
The darker roses have to open a bit more the florist said but to give me the basic idea, another thing done yea!

Re: Pics of my centerpieces....
BEAUTIFUL!!!! I almost used Irene, but switched halls & went with house florist instead. I love the colors!!! My only suggestion(just my opinion) would be to use Queen Annes Lace instead of baby's breath. Either way they are gorgeous!!!!
mishy...they are gorgeous...are you renting the stands or do they come with it...a friend of mine is looking for that exact centerpiece...

Re: Pics of my centerpieces....
Richs bride here is a pic with that flower, my FFIL held up the flower against the centerpiece, I thought it may be to dark for the room, the reception is in the Normandy room in CB and the room is very dark, did you use this flower for centerpieces? I would love to see how it looked if you did? I love all opinions so please give them!
We used low centerpices because we had a day wedding-but we used leonodis roses & sahara roses-this is not the best pic you can see them a litlle in this one I think your choice is beautiful!!!

Re: Pics of my centerpieces....
Mishy, I'm sorry I misunderstood your question-I had Queen Annes in my bouquet
I think it's a more unique choice. You can also lighten it up by using a lighter filler, like seeded eucalyptus.

Re: Pics of my centerpieces....
I love the centerpiece. It looksalmost exactly like the centerpiece I have been pricing...except I would be using Queen Annes lace and Stratus as the filler instead of baby's breath. How many roses are in your centerpiece? And of you don't mind me asking, how much are you paying per centerpiece? (You can Forum mail me if you don't feel comfortable posting the price on the boards. I'm still in the process of trying to find a reasonable price. So far the prices I've gotten are way to high.

Re: Pics of my centerpieces....
The roses colors are leonodis and virgina.. They look orange but they are almost like a pale yello flower with maroon/brown tips, very hard to explain the color.. But is person they are gorgeous!
