I think I'm finally happy with this necklace. One of the vendors at Tri-County listened to what I wanted (a splash of color, but still something kind of antique-y looking) and then created this for me last week. I went to pick it up today, so nervous, and I think it's perfect!
I'm thinking... pearl and cubic earrings, right? This should be the only pink, so it 'pops'. Tell me what you think:

Planning is going great! Only 64 days to go, so there's both so much left to do, and... not a whole lot of major stuff to do. It's a fun time! How are you doing?

That's a great idea! I had been thinking drop earrings, but I'm fighting it because I never wear earrings and I think I'd find them annoying dangling all night. But I'm sure I could find square ones...

I can't believe time is going so quickly!!! I am glad you are having fun planning. Now it comes down to all the little things, I am sure. How are you doing with everything else? Are you still with your trainer and is she still kicking your butt? BTW...we still don't have invites, but they are on their way!

what you could do is ask the jeweler to make smaller matching czs and then mount the earring post on a pearl attached to the top of the square cz. this way, it doesn't dangle and you have both elements in the earrings as well!

I was so close to ordering at ice.com, but it got so many negative reviews on Yahoo, I was afraid to. On ice.com (and diamond.com, and overstock.com, if you're still looking) they have real semi-precious gemstones. This is just cubic - a pink cubic surrounded by crushed white/clear cubic. So the pendant was only $17 (). The string is freshwater pearls, which I think make it look more 'bride-like', and to put it all together it was like $55. A steal! I can get you the info of where I got it; she had a lot of nice stuff.

Yep, still kicking my butt! I'm supposed to be there today, but I'm really sick. 100.4 fever! I'm actually taking the day off tomorrow to stay in bed - another day without a workout. She's going to be mad at me when I see her again on Tuesday. But I've already lost about 10 pounds and am jogging for 30 minutes at a time without stopping to walk or stretch, so I'm really coming along! Thanks for asking.

I saw your dress photos...you look beautiful in them. Thats great on the weight loss...I bet you are buff! Nice work on the running...I always wanted to get into it and be able to do something like that. Sorry to hear you are sick that totally bites. There's a lot going around in the schools now because of the weather changes. Not cool.
