Pics of strapless dresses w/ no necklace?

1 of my BM's doesn't really want to wear a necklace, she'd rather wear big chandelier earrings and a chunky bracelet. Their dresses are strapless. Has anyone had or seen BM's do this? Does it look too 'naked' in the upper chest/ neck area??

I think strapless dresses are nice without necklaces. If there is a lot of beading on the dresses, it might look better without a necklace. Also, depending on the neckline of the dress, some necklaces (IMO) don't look right. Such as - a straight neckline looks funny, to me, with a pendant - I don't like the look of the chain making a V and the neckline going straight across. But that is just me!

IMO, I LOVE the bare neck.

I personally think no necklace and big earrings are great!! It doesn't take any attention away from the dress. I want my bridesmaids to do that as well as myself.

These were my girls.....NO neclace just big bauiful earrings and a flower in their hair!

I think chandlier earrings and no necklace for a strapless dress is really pretty

Thank you so much ladies!!! What I think I will do since my 1 BM doesn't want a necklace, 2 of them do, and 1 doesn't care, is have the 1 who doesn't care go without a necklace either, that way at least I have 2 and 2. I want at least a LITTLE uniformity LOL.

Neither I nor my BM's wore necklaces with stapless gowns..pics are in album! I think it looks elegant, plus most of them wore their hair down. My MOH did wear a necklace.

I actually like the bare neck much better than a necklace - IMO a necklace sometimes takes away from the dress

I agree with everyone above. I'm all for the bare look. You do not want the necklace to take away from the dress

were doing this also, but the main reason is because of the neckline of my BM dress ... its more 'square' and I didnt think a necklace would 'go' ... I will be wearing one however, also another way to set me apart
