lol just a warning but when u go in a store they look totally diff on that rack ... i would just get a general idea of the style/material that you like and have a consultant do the rest
i'm looking for slim fit lace and beading ...but then i had tried on a beautiful ball gown but i'm 5 ft and 105 lbs i don't want to look over powered by a dress lol i feel like i like everything lol

I am only a few inches taller than you and I had the same problem. Everything seemed too much or didn't look like a wedding dress to me. I ended up getting a Melissa Sweet dress and actually liked quite a few of her dresses. You can find them at Priscilla of Boston in Roslyn. GL! I know how tough it can be!!!!

Look at the 1 i tried on today... mori lee 2196 ... its on the rk bridal post on the 09 board... i too tried on the bigger gowns and while beautiful, i was lost, weighed down, and hot LOL

I was also looking for a dress that I wasn't drowing in. I am very small on top and have a bigger bottom so ball gowns just made me look funny.... I originally wanted a lace dress so I have a few pics of lacey dresses in my album.
I ended up picking a dress that I never throught I would have picked but I love the moderness of the dress and plus I am going to have a small reception in Israel as well so I needed something that wasn't going to kill me in the heat of August. My dress in also in my album.
