We met with a photographer the other day who told us that they advise seeing each other before the ceremony. I always thought that the first time seeing each other should be durin the ceremony...but she said many couples are now doin gpictures before the ceremony so that the couple can actually spend time in the cocktail hour. Has anyone done this or is planning on doing this? What would your advice be? Thanks!!

I want to see FH for the first time when the church doors open and I start to walk down the aisle. We will take pictures in between the church and cocktail hour.
we weren't going to see each other before the ceremony but seeing as how we've decided to attend out cocktail hour so we will be taking pictures before our ceremony..seeing each other will not take away from that moment we first see each other as i walk down the aisle..its still going to be beautiful and emotional
we didn't see each other prior to the ceremony.
we took pics before the whole thing started so we would have enough time to get great pics. We took pics for 2 1/2 hrs before at my aunt's house. All the formal and family shots were done then. I didn't have to miss a single thing.
