Picture Question

Hi Guys,

I'm alittle confused on what I should do for timing. I'm having the photograper come to my house at 12 15 so that we can take some pics at home and then go and take pics before the ceremony at 3 30. I wanted to get some pics of me getting my hair or makeup done before i have my dress on. I've seen a few girls do it and i thought it looked cute. Should I have the hair person at my house finishing up my hair by the time the photographer gets there so he can get some pics...is that how it works?

What do I do for timing? ughh My hair will take an hour 45minutes and my makeup will take an hour i was told. I have the photograper coming at 12 15....whats the best way to schedule hair and makeup?

Does this work
Makeup-9 30-10 30
Hair 10 30-12 15
Duet arrive 12 15...

DOes that give me enough time to get dressed, take some photos at home and then leave for pics at 1?

usually your hair is done first--then they do the makeup. have your make up person do you absolutely last. then by the time the photog gets there, you should be either just finishing up, or already done and the makeup artist is still around.

my MU artist made sure i was last--and by the time the photog arrived, she was about 90% done. she finished up, and then worked with the photographer and we did fake 'getting ready' shots. that's how its usually done.
