I was planning to take pictures at planting fields for my july wedding, but I recently learned that the latest time to take pics is 5 pm, you see the problem is I am getting married in brooklyn at 4pm and its a full mass so say it ends at 5pm, I wont be on the Island before 6pm, so now I am so frustrated because I am running out of options and I dont want to change my ceremony time because I always wanted and afternoon-evening wedding, so if any one have any suggestions please let me know
thanks
Please let me know the prices

Check out Old Westbury Gardens...I'm not sure how late you can get there, but I'm not getting there until around 5PM and they give you an hour and a half.

Just down the road from the Planting Fields is Sagamore Hill, Teddy Roosevelt's old house. I'm not sure they 'do' wedding photography, but it woulnd't really be out of the way--it's just off 25A as well. Might be worth the investigation.

Hi Twin!!!!!
The Vanderbilt Museum in Centerport is amazing!!! I wanted to take pics there but it's in the opposite direction of my reception site so I can't take that chance since I am also getting married in Brooklyn.
Good luck finding a place!

My cereony is at 3pm and I need to be at the Vanderbilt by 7pm (earlier if I want to take pics there) and it's 2 hours away from where I live in Brooklyn. Is your ceremony by Downtown Brooklyn? Maybe you can go take pics by the Brooklyn Bridge in DUMBO area......I actually wanted to take pics at Coney Island......something fun different, etc. but it won't work out schedule wise.
