picture taking location?

me & FH were originally going to take our pics at Argyle Park in babylon after the ceremony... but i was thinking over the weekend that god forbid it rains, i'd like to find someplace that has an option of an indoor place thats not TOO far from suffolk county.... does anyone know of a place like that??

i know OWG has the mansion, but thats not close enough for us to go before the reception... our hall doesnt have a good place to take pics inside if it rains, thats why i wanted to find a place that could maybe do them inside??

any suggestions would be great!!

Well, I know I'm not any help but I thought I'd answer your post.... We took our E-pics in Myrtle Becah, SC and my aunt has a beach house that we were going to use as a plan B if it rained. It has a covered patio so you can see the ocean in the back ground but you'll also keep dry....Soooooo if you want to travel to SC and take your pictures then I'll call my aunt and she would love to have you over

what about the vanderbilt? i'm thinking of taking pics there. not totally sure if you can go inside all the buildings though and i don't know how far that would be from you, but it doesn't hurt to call and find out! good luck!!

the vanderbilt is beautiful on the outside, but the indoors is mostly dead animals and shrunken heads. FH and i were thinking about having our reception there (in a tent on the lawn). the CH would have been around the surroundings of the mansion and i remember the lady was telling us if it rains we could do CH inside. we thought that was hysterical, considering the surroundings. But....she did show us a few rainy shots under the arch at the entrance of the mansion that looked beautiful. so there are possibilities there. there are a few other places for shots inside i think, where there are no animal heads, lol. it is worth a visit.

yeah they do, but its too far for us to go between the church & reception... our church is in seaford and RH is a couple towns into suffolk so its not TOO far east.... im hoping my photographer knows a location!!
