Where is everyone having their pictures taken? I'm looking at either plantingfields or old westbury gardens
any advice - or recomendations???
I checked old westbury gardens & its like $450 - is that the norm????

I think my FH's sister paid $300 for a friday wedding. But they treated her very very poorly and had her almost crying. I think she is trying to get some of her money back- we shall see!
I have to say though, it was raining that day and when we were finally able to take pictures inside, the setting was beautiful! And I have been there on a nice day before and the gardens are georgous!

Kristi, did you get your picture permit yet? You have to have one there now for pics. Stupid rule changes.

We're taking them at the church and then at our RH. They have great spots both inside and out!

im not sure yet.....since its going to be cold out in december we are trying to find something indoors that is close to JT and the hotel we'll be staying at....but i still havent found anything

i'm doing mine at the bayard cutting arboretum! so pretty there!! PS for the other girls doing it there, you do need a permit and must pay a charge (mine for all of the vehicles comes out less than $200 but you have to do it within a month or 2 months of the wedding!!)

I like OWG but they have soo many restrictions , I heard that you cant even walk around. I like one in Port Wash, i forgot the name

well to be honest i dont think there are that many nice places to take pics at JT - i dont want to offend anyone - i love JT that is why im getting married there but as far as picture spots - its not really my style.....we are taking pictures before our ceremony so we are trying to find a really cool location for photos - then after our ceremony we will take a few in the RH - since it will be decorated for Christmas - i just dont want ALL of our pictures there......hopefully i find a place

that's about what we were told for OWG. how effing expensive right?! i had my heart set on it b/c it's SO pretty there...but now i think we might just go to a park in stony brook. i've seen pics of other girls' epics and day after pics there and it's really pretty...why pay so much money when you can go somewhere for free??
