i don't know
it's pretty, but maybe i couldn't get the full effect b/c all of the gardens were covered in snow.
i wasn't too impressed with the inside either.
i'm very upset.

Ugh!!! Well I'm pretty sure we are going to go to Planting Fields. I'm not sure if that is too far from your venue?? It is REALLY beautiful inside and out. I want more of the structural beauty vs. the typical flower pictures ya know?
Its in oyster bay the De seversky center is very pretty but very $$ to get a permit. I looked at it for my pics and it was over a grand just to take pics for a couple of hours.

also, oheka will let you take pics there for a fee also, as long as there isn't a wedding there.
planting fields like heather said is really pretty too!
eta, I have some pics of the inside of planting fields if you want them, i visited it as a possible ceremony location

also, what about chelsea mansion?? I have seen pics and they are really nice! They supposedly did some updating recently it is in the same area as planting fields, you could see them both in the same day!
