Pictures of My Dress

I just picked up my dress from being altered and I love the dress but I'm not too happy with a couple things.
He sewed in bra cups but they are kind of bumpy. I don't know if you can tell from these pictures but I noticed it.
Also, the bustle hooks are so noticeable because thery are silver. I'm sure they come in white or clear plastic. Did anyone else have any problems like this?
Should I bring it back?

I don't know if the hook and eyes come in white, but I do know that they should not be visible like that. Also, it looks like there is some puckering along your ribs. Were you comfortable in the dress? You may want to ask them to adjust it a bit. But I would definitely check in on the hooks and eyes. That doens't seem right to me.

If your not happy bring it back and talk to him, you have plenty of time for alterations.

It looks like my ribs but those are the bottom of the pads. It's wierd, under the actual cup there is a rim under it that puffs out.
I think I do need to bring it back.

First of all - your dress is gorgeous. But I think you are right. The bra cups look a little bumpy. and I think I agree with you also about the bustle.

Definitely bring it back - both things are fixable.

Definitely bring it back. The hooks look awful, and you do look bumpy and weird. They should be able to fix that, and if they can't, take it to someone else and demand your money back. That's really shoddy work.

Otherwise it's a lovely gown!

you look great in the dress!! But, if you are not happy about the bustle hooks- take it back and have them fix it. I dont think they should be visible.

Your dress is hot, that being said, you do need to bring it back for some adjustments.

They do come in white, I dont' think they should be visible like that.
I love your dress, it is very pretty, but I think you should take it back and ask he to change them to white.

Oh my gosh!! You look so gorgeous! WOW--you have a great figure!!

Those hooks are quite noticeable....it seems to me as if they DO come in white...it shouldnt be a big deal to change them....Best Of Luck

The dress is gorgeous.. but the silver hooks would bother me.. They didn't come in a more natural color like white or clear?

Hooks DEF come in white however make sure they DO NOT use any kind of plastic, they don't hold up
I would def ask them to change them

I agree as well. Your dress is stunning and those hideous hooks are ruining the dress so i would definitly bring it back. Also tell them to fix the bra pads in your dress they should not be sticking out like that near your ribcage.

You should take it back for minor adjustments.... You're paying $ and you should be 100% happy with your dress....

The dress is beautiful though and you look great!

Great dress but yea the cups are too visible and in close up professional photography they will be even worse. You dont want that puckering because dancing, eating, any kind of activity basically, will shift the way the dress falls if it isn't flattering to begin with. Just take it back and politely say you're unhappy with the bustle hooks and the cups and could they alter it. They shouldn't charge you more because they didn't do it right the first time.
