Ok.....when viewing these photos you need to look for the POTENTIAL the house has lol
It's been on the market for over a year now...so the landscape is SERIOUSLY overgrown plus they were smokers so the walls are yucky! But we're gonna take our time working on it and making it into something that we've dreamed of (sooo cheesy, I know but Hey, it's to fun!) it's located RIGHT outside of Huntington Village (couldn't ask for a greater location!) We could walk to town!!
CONGRATULATIONS! from one new homeowner to another...it is NOT the ugliest bathroom in the world. On the north shore, maybe! Good luck with it and post pics as things get done. I would love to see before and afters!

Great house!!! We just closed on our house about a month ago... we've been working hard on it as well. Your walls actually look better than mine... the people before us PAINTED over THREE layers of wallpaper. UGH!!! It will take time but its worth it :) Congrats! Looks like a nice neighborhood too.

Congrats on your new house! Just remember it's not what it looks like now, but what you turn it into that counts!! And it's gonna be great!!! My bro & bf live in Huntington...it's soooo nice there!
The house I live in was my great uncle's & he smoked in it for 40 years!!! Needless to say the 'white' walls were yellow!
Here's what we did to clean the smokey walls & rid the house of the smell:
1) we literally scrubbed the walls & ceilings with scrub brushes & a mixture of water & i think something made for this purpose (this was back in '97 so i can't remember exactly..haha) HomeDepot should have it...
2) then we used a special primer to kind of seal any left over smell in before painting
it was back breaking work but worth it to rid the house of the stench! good luck!!
