Pictures of our tin, I think it is tin, ceiling

Phil installed this a few months ago in our half bath.

I love it, the pictures don't do it justice because the crown still needed to be painted at the time we took these pictures. It's painted now, I should take another picture of the finished product.

But it really added an extra, cool detail to our 1/2 bath.

I love it- I want to do a tin ceiling in our kitchen when we finally move in.

From what Phil said it is relatively inexpensive too and easy to install.

That looks fantastic. That's so funny that you posted this because I've been saying for months that I want that look in our kitchen, but I'm not sure how to do it. Did you use real tin? I saw a decorating show used wallpaper that you paint and then I saw another recently that said you could buy a product now that is ceiling tiles and same thing, you paint them. I think they're made of plastic or some other light material. We've got those acoustic ceiling tiles now and I hate it! How much does a project like this cost? We're on a really tight budget.
