Pictures of window treatments??

I'm trying to decide what to do for my windows in the living room. We've been in the house for 2 months and I don't have anything up. Everyone just sees right in.

I want to do sheers or some sort of curtain. Should I also do blinds too for some more privacy? It's a dead end road and I'm the 2nd to last house at the end.

Also, I have to do outside mount blinds with the double hung windows I have. Not sure how that would work w/ blinds and curtains.
