I'm taking a real estate law class this quarter and the professor told us that he can find a picture of anyone's house through the county assessor's site. Im in chicago and wanted to see if it's true for NY and it is

I just looked up my parents house, neighbors, friends. You'll find info on the size of land, house details, value of home in 02 & 04, even a COLOR photo! Just enter the house number and street

It's a good tool for people house hunting, but a little scary at the same time.

Can't find a site for Suffolk County

Is that just for Nassau because I tried to do a Search for Broome county accessors site and couldn't find one. I live upstate.

I think Susan Lucci lives in the Hamptons.

I thought she lived in garden City?

how cute. I don't know how old this photo is, but it's before I moved in in May (no AC's in the windows) but it's definately when my In-laws live there.

The photo shows Jim's grandma's tomato plants she grows out front of the house. How cute. The car is a bit old though.

And it shows the build date of 1888.

It's wonder insurance companies don't use this. God knows I answered a ton of questions they could have easily gotten off this site!

Yes she has 2 houses on the island. One in Garden City and one in the hamptons. She just had her house renovated and lived in the city while that was happening. I know her daughter got married a little while ago. Maybe she is on the board :) Her name is Liza. Can ya tell I love Susan Lucci! I also am an All My Children junkie!

Yeah that's what I thought. When I was in HS and worked at Roosevelt Field, I used to see her occassionally.

That was soooo cool, plus I found out that the apartment I am renting in a private house is totally illegal. There are 3 apartments in a 1 family house. Blackmail on the landlords!!!

LOL. I was just on this site. Im like I hmm.. I need to send a thank you to a friend and I don't have her house # so let me go on there and see If I can find it. It blocked me and said I have to pay for the service now LOL..

Wow that is scary but can definitely come in handy when looking for a home. The stragest part of it all is that when I put my parent address in....the wrong house came up. I found everyone elses just not theres.
