Michale's has the tall ones in ivory, white, rose and blue, for $3 each.

Re: pillar candles??
I went to a wedding where the girl used 3 sizes of pillar candles as her centerpiece and placed them on a square piece of mirror. She got both really cheap. That will solve your dripping concerns.

Re: pillar candles??
I bought great, really cheap pillars at Linen & Things. They were 6 for $11.99. They last forever and they don't drip. They come in white and ivory. I highly suggest them.
PS This is not a sale price...this is their everyday price. If you can, get a 20% off coupon and you'll save some $$!

Re: pillar candles??
I wonder what would happen if they were just on a tablecloth...I was thinking of having a floral centerpiece, but with a couple of the same-size pillars around it....maybe votives in the votive holder would be better? Does anyone know how long these will burn before getting messY (I know it prob depends on the candle, but a general idea would be good)

I bought 2 of the smaller ones from there as samples to make sure they were nice and they are. Their price isn't bad, and I've looked everywhere, it's the shipping that sucks. I actually ordered candles from another website called buyacandle.com (without ordering 1 or 2 as a sample first) because it was cheap. When they came they were wrapped in paper towels, which stuck to the candles, and they were all crumbly. Definitely not suitable for a wedding. So I recently posted the question on the vendor website and just about everyone responded to go to Michaels. I was going to get the ones at Linens n things but they only come in 2 sizes and I need 3 different sizes. I will probably wait for a Michaels sale and coupon now and get them there.
