Where do you get sheets for Pillow Top Mattresses and what are they called? Danielle and I bought a queen sized Sealy Pillow top and we heard that you need to get special sheets, is that true?

We buy the sheets for deep mattresses. We have a Queen mattress so I buy a fitted sheet in Queen for deep mattresses, but then I buy a King flat sheet because a Queen flat sheet always seems to be too small.

You can pretty much get them anywhere you would get regular sheets. They are called deep pocket sheets. You can try linens and things, fortunoff, macys, target, etc.
Once in awhile you can find some at Marshalls or TJ Maxx.

Measure the thickness of the mattress and then buy deep pcoket sheets...some brands go up to 21' in thickness or some only go up to 15'...

We have gotten a lot of deep pocket sheets from Fortunoff(recent domestics catalog, we paid $19.99), and also from Linens and Things, when they have a sale we get them for around $59.99 for 300 thread count.

I think you should measure it first. Some pillow tops need the deep pockets,a nd some dont. Mine didnt need it.

I agree - measure first. For the most part I haven't had a problem with the regular sheets. But I do prefer the king flat since I have a king comforter on my queen bed.

We dont have the bed yet. We are getting it July 6th. We originally registered for queen sheets, so I changed the sheets to King. If they are too big I guess we will have to get Queen... Scott

Ummmmmmmm, I don't think king sheets will fit a queen bed the right way. You might need deep pocket queen sheets. Depending on the thickness of the mattress regular sheets might fit.

I have a pillow top (LOVE IT). Anyway, I didn't buy special sheets. Just make sure they're deep. I think my mattress is 15 inches deep.
