pills

I need help I have the worse cramps. I took an aleve at 10pm last night, woke up at 1am and took 2 advil and took 3 more advil this morning at 6am. They aren't working Does anyone have a miracle drug that will help me?????
I go through this every month and it is HORRIBLE.

I can't think of anything but taking more aleve!

I take aleve too. I get cramps in my tummy and lower back really bad to the point that I cry. I take aleve and I buy the therma care for my back and stomach and wear them all day and then chage the heat packs at night. Those things relax my muscles and it is a lil less pain

I totally understand. I have been lik ethat since I was 16. I used to leave or not go to school. They are so bad sometimes I have to leave work!

My FH always tells me to take Pamprin... I dunno, he saw a commercial.... Maybe it will work.

Oh, I can soooooo relate. I actually have to start medicating at least 12 hours before it starts, because its so bad. Aleve works well for me, but I take 3 pills and follow up with 2 every 8 hours. I know its over the recommended dose, but my gyn said there's nothing else she would be able to prescribe me that would be as effective as the aleve dosage. Why dont you try taking 2 aleve with the heating packs.

Midol is good, I get that too where it literally wakes you up!
I have also heard working out helps, like thats what you really want to do when you feel like crap!!

Midol is bad news for me it gives me the jitters and lightheadedness (if that is a word )

I feel like I am on diet pills when I take those! Careful with them!

I read that you should only take 1 aleve every 12 hours so that's why I take Advil in between. I think I will try 2 next round. I just hate taking all these pills (especially when it isn't working ) I am debating on how soon I could take 2 aleve if I took 3 advil at 6am. I don't want to over do it. (I don't even know if that is possible or if they just put that on the labels.)
