I am having my BM's wear black. My 2 older FG's will be in a white top and black bottom. I was originally going to have the other flowergirl who will barely be two in a white dress with littel black ribbons. We went to look at dresses tonight and the woman suggested I put her in a very very pale pink dress. It DOES look better on her but will that look funny when everyone else is in black and black and white? Do you think if I have the BM's carrying rust colored calla lillies it will look bad?
The pink is so pale but I'm just worried it will look mish-moshed and her not look like she's a part of the party.

Re: pink flowergirl dress anyone?
I don't think anyone will notice the coloring if it's that pale of a pink. If you're worried about it though and the dress looks that good, see if maybe you can get it in ivory or white instead.

My suggestion is that if you want the FG to wear the pink dress then have the other FG wear pink also.

I do not think rust colored flowers will look nice with pink.

If you're having the BM in black and white w/ rust - I wouldn't put your FG in pink. If you want a color, then how about a white dress with a rust colored sash? Look Here

See the dress really isn't pink pink. It's more like white with a pale pink overlay, then a white one on top of it. I am not set with the rust flowers but didn't want to have to match my flowers to a FG dress. I don't think the older girls should be in pink because they are sorta the bridge between the little FG and the BM's. Does this make sense?

If the girl is barely 2 I would put her in a white dress and she can be your mini bride. This way all the colors will be coordinated

I am *not* a fan of the 'mini bride' look - no offense to anyone who is.
What about a dress like you described (white/pink/white) with a peach color (white/peach/white) instead of the pink? The peach & rust colored callas would blend nicely together.

I'm not a fan of mini-brides either. I would consider one with a peachy shade but haven't found any like that.

I don't think pink would look good with the rust colored flowers that you have in mind. I would either put the FG in white, or keep the pink and put the 2 older FG with pink on top and black on bottom. JMO. Good Luck with your decision.

These links have peach dresses...not sure of your style or price range. What about Jessica McClintock - she has champagne colored dresses?
