2 years ago my FH and I were in a pretty bad motorcycle accident. I broke a whole bunch of bones and was hospitalized for a month and house ridden for two. I am back up and at it...but still healing from some nerve damage.
Due to this I can't wear shoes...and have only been wearing sneakers since the accident. Ones that are comfortable are a specific type of new balance....and instead of doing plain white and grey I found ones you can customize. I LOVE pink (hence my e-ring) and can customize them pink. But my mom said they were too much and too just do white, and add some rhinestones so they are blingy. Here is the link to them. Do you think they are too much? Should I stick with regular white and grey ones and just add bling?
Here goes the link to the plain white oneswhite ones

i like the white and I think if you could really do a nice job adding bling on them and they would look amazing!

I love the pink!! if you want to tone it down a little, maybe swap out for grey laces?

Re: Pink Sneakers?
that's an idea...you can swap out any and all the sides....but was just playing with it to see which looked best not only to wear that day but to wear again after the wedding...lol.

Unfortunatley not. I have to wear a brace...so I have to wear sneakers that are deep enough to put it into....and converse are thin sneakers and very narrow, so wouldn't work wiht my brace. I can walk without my brace, but I get fatigued after awhile and it becomes harder to walk

My cousin too was in a terrible accident prior to her wedding - she had halo's on her ankles - had over 100 fractures - it was a miracle that she could even walk! She had to wear COMFORTABLE shoes for her wedding - but miss fashionista had to take pics and walk down the isle in shoes - she changed after!

I have alot of weakness in my ankle...so even if I wanted to wear shoes I couldnt. My ankle would flop over. I could wear flats though...and put sneakers on during the reception where I will be doing most of my walking around. The aisle isn't that far...and standing wont be so bad without it

Re: Pink Sneakers?
I think you deserve to treat yourself, especially after what you've been thru!
I was in a near-fatal head on collision when I was 18 and I know how you feel! I was also in the hospital for about a month, and couldn't walk on my own for about 6 months.
When I finally got on my feet, I was told to forget all about heels--for good. It took some time and lots of baby steps, but I got thru it!
Take it day by day, and make sure you don't do anything to compromise your health. You deserve to look and feel beautiful on your wedding day, screw what everyone says, GET THEM!!!
