Pirates Theme - 1st Bday Party

My nephews 1st Bday is coming up in July and they will be down the weekend of the 4th of July, so I am going to throw his party on the 4th but like always I LOVE themed parties and dont want to do the red, white and blue thing for a kids party.

So I was thinking of doing a Pirates Theme party,
found a bunch of stuff online thats cute.
but figured I would ask around here for any good decorating ideas and stuff etc.

we probably wont really have many kids there, at the most 4 or 5!
but I just love decorating and having everything to corridinate with the theme.

We are going to dress Jack up like a pirate - oops I mean Captian Jack, and I found a bunch of pinata's
and some cake recipes.

suggestions would be great you girls are all so ingenious.

I love having something to plan and maybe it will keep my mind off TTCing .

thanks
kimberly

Try this site. I just googled for you pirate theme birthday

PS
I never inserted a link before. I hope it works.

They have really cute pirate hats, treasure chests and gold coins at Oriental Trading Just search for Pirate.

This one is filled with little toys... can be part of the goody bag!

Forget Oriental Trading b/c you have to order. Go to Startrack in Farmingdale. It's the same thing as Oriental Trading but you buy it right there. Most things are sold in bulk but others aren't. It's on Allen Ave. (?-St., Blvd., ...) which is one block north of Funzone on Rt. 110. It's only open weekdays. http://www.startrackinc.com/

Thanks for all the suggestions
I really appreciate it alot
