PJCC Brides

I also tried yesterday and could not get through -- I didn't even get the recording.
I think something must have been broken b/c I just called now and the usual recording answered (i.e., press 1 for golf club, 2 for banquet facilities). I didn't speak to anyone b/c I hung up :)

Now that I have all teh PJCC brides' attention, I have another question -- did you use their direction cards? I was making direction cards from teh hotels at which we blocked rooms & both mapquest & yahoo sent me through Belle Terre instead. When I looked at the map it seemed like their directions were wrong -- they said to take Oakwood to Winston Drive -- but it doesn't look like Oakwood & Winston Drive intersect. I'm so confused. I live in Chicago, so I can't go check.

I got through this afternoon also. I was actually calling to have them mail me the direction cards. When I get them I'll check out the directions and let you know. The first time I went I used Mapquest and got lost - so don't go by that!

Where in Chicago do you live? I'm moving there after the wedding!

Opps! I just sent our invitations with the mapquest/yahoo directions, but I had my sister check them out first. She said it worked for her....I'll have to check next time I'm home.
Why are you moving to Chicago? You'll love it. Currently I live in Lakeview. I've also lived in Gold Coast, Wrigleyville & Hyde Park. We've been here about 4 years and we are moving to DC in teh Fall.

We're not sure exactly where we will live in DC -- maybe Chevy Chase.
I think the Chicago housing market is pretty fair, so you shouldn't have any trouble finding a place in those neighborhoods. Let me know if you have any questions about Chicago or need help with anything.

I used the PJCC direction cards and everyone got there! So I guess they're okay. I think it might not show the quickest route but the simplest.
I had a great day there, everyone loved the food.
