PJCC Brides. . .

I am going on Saturday to finalize my menu. What did you pick for your three entree choices? I went to a tasting last fall and we tried all of the cocktail hour food, but not the entrees. Do you think I should pick Chicken Marsala or Chicken Florentine? What about for the fish choice? Thanks!!

I haven't been to any tastings, but I did go to a wedding before we chose our menu.
At the wedding we went to they had the prime rib, which everyone loved, chicken frances, which I thought was just OK, and the Tilapia, which some loved and some hated.
For our menu we were going with the Chicken Florentine, but then my FFIL insisted we get the duck. I'm nervous about it, but we didn't have much of a choice. For the seafood we chose the salmon -- but one that is on their restaurant menu, a sesame encrusted salmon. Thats it!
Are you having any dessert other than the cake? We are torn & I'd rather not spend $1000 on cream puffs!

We are getting married here in less than two weeks. We picked, prime rib, duck, and tilapia. Hope they are all good! Best of luck to all PJCC brides.

Thanks for the info. I don't want to go with duck, b/c some people don't eat it and I think chicken is a 'safe bet' that anyone might like. As for the fish, what is tilapia? I eat a lot of seafood and I've never heard of it. Is salmon a better choice b/c a lot of people like it - or too plain? I think the sesame crusted salmon sounds great! We were going to go with chateau briand b/c my FH wants it and I don't eat red meat so I let him choose.

We have the dessert trays on the tables. On their paperwork, its the coffe cordial bar and desserts option rather than the full venetian hour.

The Tilapia everyone says is a delicious fish, although I have never tasted it. We picked the duck because a lot of mine and his family likes it. We are having the ice cream bar because it is a day wedding and thought that would be great for a hot summer day with cake. Everyone I have spoken to says the food is wondeful there, so I am sure whatever you decide will be great!
