Yeah, I would start with a theme or at least a color idea.

we are taking one of our engagement photos, and printing a faded image on paper, then putting the guests' name and table numbers towards the bottom, and putting them in small frames....

either that, or using a favor/place card combo...still undecided!

I dont think we are doing anything special for place cards- I dont think Ill have the time or energy to do anything for them so just plain simple white cards for this chica....

Sorry, clicked post reply before I was done. Here are pics of what my flowers might look like. I am using really rich and tropical colors. So I don't know what kind of place cards will match. I don't want to do votive place cards. Any other suggestions??

I like votive candles as place cards, but someone in my family already did that, So I need to do something different.

We are doing little pumpkins with placecards in the stems-I saw it on here and loved it!

I'd like to do round tins with labels and customized M&Ms inside in our wedding colors (not sure which colors yet). I want to do the M&Ms since our initials are 'M' & 'M'.

We did the votive placecard holders. They came out really nice and were pretty easy to make.

I think I am going to do the votive place cards. Hopefully no one sets themselves on fire while grabbing for them, LOL

I am going to do small clear boxes of m&ms. I ordered clear boxes from oriental trading that someone had on here. Then I am going to fill them with m&ms and place ribbon with a tag with there table number.

I will probably end up using the Watermill's placecards, although I'm not crazy for them. It all depends on how much time I have and how crafty I feel!

Champagne is the theme of our wedding. I found these great mini-champage bucket place card holders on beau-coup.com. I'm going to fill them up with clear fish tank gravel so it looks like ice. I think it's cute.
