When writing the place cards do you write for example Mr. and Mrs. John Smith or Mr. and Mrs. Smith. Is there a proper way of writing these? Thanks

If the place cards are being used as escort cards then Mr. and Mrs. should be used. But place cards that are used to direct guest to a specific seat can only have names without Mr. or Mrs.

With the name .... espically since you may have a few people with the same last name
