Place Card Table Ideas!

Ok so I'm racking my brain over here trying to figure out what to do with place cards. I really want to do something diffrent for my fairytale theme.

I have any idea of buying like this big white tree (branches only) taking these clear glass slippers, drilling a hole and tying them with ribbon and a small name tag. Then having people look for their names on the tree. They can take it home afterwards and use it on a christmas tree etc.....

Do you think that is more of a winter wedding idea?

I like that idea, but I think for a summer wedding and a fairy tale theme, maybe change the color scheme and do more of an enchanted forest palette, like greens and amethysts and golds for the tree. Does that make sense? I'll try to find pics.

Like this color palette seems more appropriate for a summer fairy tale theme, and doesn't look wintery:

Correct me if I'm way off base here lol, but this was what popped into my mind.

Not at all off base..I am having feathers put in my Bouquet & centerpieces as well so this would sooo look nice & compliment well!! Thanks I didn't think of this!!!
