place card wording

place card wording

I am going to start writing out my place cards and was wondering do married couples get one place card, do you just write first name & first name last name? do you write Mr. & Mrs. Last Name? Do I just write them out the same way I did the invitations?

i thought it was mr. & mrs. last name on one. the last wedding i went to mine said- my name and fh name on one and we arent married yet.

You write Mr & Mrs on married couples.

i did a seating chart, so i never had this question, but...

this is what i experienced at the last wedding i went to.

married couples get 1 card, as do non-married couples

mr and mrs smith

mr. john smith
ms. jane doe

mr. john smith
and guest

for married people i did :
mr & mrs john doe

for unmarried couples:
mr. john doe & ms. jane smith

for a guest that was bringing a date:
mr. john doe & guest

for widows:
mrs. john doe
