are you ladies going to use the ones provided by the RH? We were thinking of using place card frames so the guest would have an extra favor but our BM mentioned how they are a waste of $ because guests leave them behind. I'm confused now I don't know if I should just print my own (RH ones are ugly in my opinion), still use frames, or just use some type of place card holder? What are you ladies doing?

I would skip the place card frames/holders. I throw them away when I get one as a favor. I probably will go with tented cards so that they stand on their own. My RH does not provide cards, so I will be buying them.

Our reception hall provides these as well, but I found ones I liked that were cheap so I'm using those instead. I'd say if you already have another favor then skip the frames and use that money elsewhere. Maybe just buy one of the DIY kits for these if you don't the halls cards.

Yeah we will already have other favors we are having cupcakes & plus we are having a photo booth. I'm thinking I may just spend that $ on frames for the photo booth pics instead? I found magnetic ones for the fridge-what do you think?

What if you got some baseball bases and displayed the place cards in each square, by table? Or would that be too big?

My RH has them but I think I am going to make my own, because it would feed into my OCD so nicely if everything matched.

We are actually DIY'ing this - I agree that the pic frames no1 really ever takes home and if they do they are lost within a week b/c they are so tiny!!!

Awesome idea! Too bad Fh hates the Mets ( and sports in general). i'm going with the ones CH provides.

Mara, we were going to do a baseball (FH likes to think Mets) themed wedding at first and this site had some really great pictures for ideas, don't know if you already checked it out. They did their escort cards as tickets kinda like what you're doing and this is how they displayed them.
We're actually doing the personalized bat as our guestbook. You can see it on the website.
