Place Cards

I am currently trying to figure out what to do for place cards. I hate that people use them to find their table and then just get rid of them! What a waste! I am trying to keep them as cheap as possible but I want them to look awesome. Not sure what to do....help!

Place Cards

Are you looking to have them double as a favor? What about a mini bottle of champagne, with name and table number attached to the tag. The last wedding we went to had a beach theme so they used starfish shells with a tag attached. I would try to think of something related to your theme/look of your reception and go from there.

Place Cards

I feel the same way! I looked into a seating chart done by the person doing my invites and it actually was more money. I heard some venues actually give you the escort cards. My venue does not provide them :(

Re: Place Cards

I'm doing window frames, writing tables and names on each. These were $12.50 a piece at a garage sale. Just using two of them:

I also considered the photo frame thing, since you can use the frame after the wedding to put photos in:

A friend did something similar at her wedding this past fall. She put twine across them and clipped it with clothes pins. Trying to attach a pic
