Place cards- how to address

Place cards- how to address

What or how do I 'address' place cards.
I got the Mr. & Mrs. Blah Blah
But how do I address Mr. Such and so and guest? It seems rude to write 'and guest'.

If somebody returned their response card with 'and guest' and I wasn't sure of the name, I just wrote 'and guest'. I didn't have time to track them down and ask for the name of the person they were bringing. It's nice if you can do it though.

I agree.

Some people put the name of the guest.

Others just put their name and 2 for the number.

same here - honestly, I'm a busy girl, so if they can't be bothered to put their guest's name on the rsvp card, then I really don't have the time to track it down.
