Place to buy a Child's Cross/Necklace?

I wanted to know if anyone knew of a place that carries children's/babies' jewelry. I'm not going to have a chance to get into my guy on 47th Street before my niece's christening.

Do any dept. stores carry children's jewelry?

I'm specifically looking for a gold necklace/cross.

Thank you.

I bought a child's cross at Squires in the huntington Mall, its the mall with Sears in it. Its on the corner of Jericho Turnpike and Larkfield Road in East Northport, they were having a remodeling sale so I got 60% off. I am not sure if they are still having the sale but they had a huge selection.

Depending on how much you want to spend, Target, Walmart, Kmart and Kohls all carry children's jewellry.

I just bought a tiny ring for my godson at the Attias Flea Market on Sunrise Hwy in Sayville and there were tons of stalls selling kids stuff - bracelets, crosses, rings, etc. It was really inexpensive too. I spent about $48 on the ring and they engraved it for free.

This is actually what I am going to be doing this weekend! I have to get one for my godaughter! But I like to get them adult crosses so its something they can grow into!

Good Luck, I have seen childrens crosses at every department and jewelry store in the mall it all depends on what type you are looking for....

I still wear my dad's baby ring on my pinky. I have the cross I got when I was a baby - it's not huge, but it's not a tiny baby's one either. and I still have a bangle bracelet that I got when I was a baby. IT doesn't fit anymore, but did until I was about 12 or 13.

I bought my godson a ring that will most likely fit him best at his communion. I didn't want to get him anything too big.

yeah I want to buy something for my godaughter she can wear when she is older, is that wrong to do? I look at my items and never wear it, I was thinking of getting her a butterfly pendant, so she would be reminded of her aunt/godmother when she is older. (my father already got her a cross)

That is what I wanted to get my godaughter, but no one is getting her a cross, so I want to make sure she has one to wear that day!
I definately DO NOT think its wrong to get something they can wear when they are older! I think thats great! my neice got a beautiful Tiffanys bracelet when she was baptized and we got DHs godaughter a beautiful diamond cross that I wish I had! I think its really just practical especially since most children really dont wear jewelery that often! so this way its not like you spent alot of money on something they wore just a few times!
