place to hold small wedding?

So i was talking to my fiance last night and was asking that we have a small wedding. Which i'm OK with. I'm saying in my head 'this is what I WAS SAYING' but i guess it's different when they come up with the idea...i digress LOL!

Anyway; can anyone suggest any really gorgeous places that i can have about 25-30 guests? Max of 40 in Long Island; manhattan; brooklyn doesn't really matter. Looking to spend about $4K ($200-$125pp) on the reception.

Thanks!

Westbury Manor has smaller rooms upstairs that could probably accomodate what your looking for. They are located on Jericho tpke in westbury

Friends of ours got married at GW Manor-had a lot of fun at their wedding!

I second both Westbury Manor and Irish Coffee Pub (we had our e-party here). Those were the two that came into my mind also. Also, at the Woodlands, there is a restaurant on top. I believe its called the Delano mansion. We saw it when we went on our tour of the RH and its gorgeous up there! I'm not sure what month you're looking to have it but there is an indoor section (obviously) and they also have a really nice patio where you can prob do something outside. The patio is really big and its very nice up there!

The Winter Garden Pavillion at the Fox Hollow is TO DIE FOR!

I am having a small wedding (40-65 ppl) and in researching RH, noted the following which would accomodate smaller weddings: (in addition to the ones already mentioned above)

**Long Island ***

-Swan Club
-Sans Souci
-GW Manor
-Coral House (Lakeside room, but it has low ceiings)
- Verdis of Westbury
-Manor East (Massapequa)

***Queens***

-Douglaston Manor
-Russo's on the Bay
-Villa Lombardi
-Waterview or Water's Edge ? (Long Island City)

I completely agree with the Winter Garden Pavillion room at Fox Hollow!!! I fell in love with that room...and it would be perfect and spacious for about 45 ppl. If my guest list wasnt so huge I would have booked that room in a heart beat!!!

they just redid the new hyde park inn..its gorgeous! check that out..

also look at the river cafe in brooklyn..really nice views of the city..not sure if they do private parties but its an excellent restaurant...

what about bridgeview...my principal just hosted her daughters wedding there and they had 60 people... she had no complaints about anything

If you have a favorite restaurant you may be able to close it down for the event. Or maybe they have a private room.

like 21 main is delicious and fancy enough that it would be a nice affair.

If your looking for Brooklyn there is a great restaurant called Buckley's which has a really nice back room and the food is GREAT!
