Does anyone know of a place on the North Shore to go to for photos? I called The Vanderbilt, and they want $200 for a site fee. I think that is a little too much just to use their facilities for an hr. My wedding is at The Thatched Cottage in Centerport. Thank you!!!!
WHat time of year? There are tons of sites such as Sagamore Hill, Oyster Bay Planting Field, Port Jefferson has a few nice parks, Argile Lake in Babylon, Sunken Meadow Park, Blydenburg (Smithtown on Rt. 347, near the Northern State Parkway).
What parks in Port Jefferson are you talking about? My wedding is in Port Jefferson and we're looking for places for pictures also. Thanks!

Do you ask photographers for their ideas or am I supposed to look around myself? Cuz I don't know that part of the island at all!
