Do you have to get placecard holders? I thought most placecards were the type that fold in half so they sit up on their own anyway?

u dont have to.
they have plenty out there that fold in half and look lovely.

You don't have to. There are some place cards that are just a card so they need to put into a holder or a frame. If you are using tent-style place cards, you don't need it.

The holders are a cute touch but what do you do with them after the wedding? I think for someone who has the money to spend it's really cute...I would do it! It's just so easy to spend money on these little things that add up quickly! IMO...the holders are best for those with a theme.
