If you dont/didnt have a caligrapher, are you just writing in each name on the placecards? Is this too informal??

Re: Placecard question
I bought placecards and am going to print them on the computer in a fancy script font.
I did a trial one this weekend and it was pretty easy and came out good.

Re: Placecard question
hmm i have not given it much thought but i think if you have nice script handwriting and get a nice smooth gel black pen you can write em up yourself. no?

Re: Placecard question
I actually bought place cards meant for a calligrapher, and returned them for ones you can use with a printer.
I don't need the added aggravation and expense of mailing out yet another pile of stationary for calligraphy!!!!

That's what I'm doing but with a silver paint pen.

Re: Placecard question
I already bought the designed pre-cut cards w/holder (see cork place card holder pic below-this isn't a pic of mine but the sample the vendor sent with names on it) so I can't run it through my printer. I might get a caligrapher to do it but I don't have the worst handwriting in the world so I might just buy a really nice black ink fountain pen and do it myself.
