Placecard Questions

Ok a few--

Unmarried couples--each gets their own placecard, right? I think FH and I have gotten it both ways....

Ms. vs Miss--when do you make the switch?? Is there an age cutoff?

Re: Placecard Questions

i think for unmarried couples you would put the name of the person your friends with and either put and guest or just the guests first name ex:

Mr. Tom Smith and Janice

Or

Mr. Tom Smith and Ms. Janice Jones

For the Miss vs Ms thing, it depends. Usually they say after 18, your considered Ms. But i still put Miss for my unmarried friends in there twenties. For my older cousins who are single and in there 30's and 40's i put Ms. Hope all this makes sense!

Re: Placecard Questions

Whenever I've gone with FH to a function (even when we got engaged), we've always gotten only 1 placecard.

But usually we get Mr. X and Guest or something like that, and it always p!sses us off because they know our names!! SO frustrating!

I would use Ms. for anyone over 18, and Miss for anyone under 18, but that's just me.
