I went out today to do some wedding things with my mom and we looked at some placecard holders. Either I felt that they were ridiculously 'cheesy' OR so expensive!!!
Anyway, does anyone have any unique suggestions! The photo is of what I really want, but I think it's going to be out of the question (I'm having 250 guests!)
You could also do the same idea as printouts on cardstock rather than cookies...then you just enlist some people to help you cut them out! I love the ideas that have been posted too.

Another bride had this and it was what I had in mind but couldn't find it. I love it because it's two in one. A placecard holder and a favor. I'll post more that I have saved in my folder of wedding items. Good luck
Are you doing a beach theme? because if so I would buy or just collect sea shells and write with gold (sliver or whatever color you want) marker the couples name. That would be very orginal. I also so one where the bride and groom used stones. If you want the cookies which are really cute, do you have a grandparent, inlaw, aunt, sister, or friends who would be willing to make them for you? Their just cookies. You can go to michaels and get the kits to make them.

i love this idea too- but would they be wrapped??? on just on the table... then people could touch them and stuff... how much too? i am having about 200-215 too

I plan to put the cards in litte photo fames...
I recieved place cards like that @ a wedding before.. and its great..I still use the little frame..
At my engagement party we had candy bars...which I thought were unique and different.. but Im not sure if they are fancy enough for a wedding...
