I am having my DOC do this but I know a lot of the girls here bought the Velum from Michaels and ran it thru the computer. For me this is too much work with the wedding and my work load so I am just having them done. I did see the labels in Michaels and they were not that expensive.

This may be a silly question, but what if there are last minute seating changes? How could you change that on a votive placecard?

Votive candles are pretty standard in size - I bought mine from cudge.net - link - they were the cheapest online.
As far as the vellum - you can buy it at staples or michaels or any other craft/paper store, standard size again is 8.5x11 and you just have to cut it to size.
It's honestly not a hard project at all.
