Should I put Mr. and Mrs. John Doe and family or just keep it Mr. and Mrs. Jane Doe
Also, for someone bring a guest, how do I go about wording it? Ms. Jane Doe and guest

I wouldnt put 'and guest.' I find it impersonal. Make a point to call the people bringing guests and get their names. As a bride, don't you want to know who is at the wedding? And I think you can do either Jane and John Doe or Mr. and mrs. John Doe. Either will be acceptable in my opinion.

I wrote on the place cards whatever I had on the inner envelopes. So if they were invited as Mr. & Mrs. John Doe and Family then that's what I put on the place card. Of course, if the 'and Family' part are sitting at a different table then they'll need their own place cards.
As for the '& Guests' if someone RSVP'd and didn't put their guest's name then I wrote 'Ms. Jane Doe and Guest'. I couldn't drive myself crazy right before my wedding tracking down people for their guest's names.

I have a place card for every person. I also made sure to find out the names of all the guests.....

I am trying to find the names of people's guests, but its not as easy as it sounds. Some of my guests still aren't sure who they are going to bring-I am not waiting until the last minute to do the placecards-so if by early June they still don't know-it will say & guest.

Alot of people didnt put who they were bringing, so I think Im just going to write and Guest. If they really wanted their guests to have names I would think they would of put it, I cant drive myself crazy and call all of these people
