Anybody have creative ideas for place-cards? Also - I want to have cards at the tables as well, to seat people next to each other. Is anybody else doing this? So the place-card would have name and table and then at the table maybe a favor with the person's name to signify seating? Any ideas?
I had that kind of seating, and my mom on the pc, printed out a place seating for me.. there was a picture of me and dh and then the persons name, and you could put a small hole in the corner and tie it with he ribbon and tie to the favor and put it on the plate or in front of it..
In Martha Stewart's last issue she had some nice ideas. One of my bridesmaids is making my place cards for me. She's making a wreath and the place cards are going to be leaves sticking out from the wreath that the guests can pull off. They'll be in alphabetical order starting from the top and going around in the circle so it won't be too hard for people to find their names. Tracyann, i saw the same thing in the magazine, she also had that pretty posterboard on an eisle if i remember correctly, i loved the wreath,, it was beautiful..
We are going to display our place cards on those photo holder clips - the kind that hold 10-12 pictures in a fan shape.
