I really want to do something different for placecards but don't want to spend a lot of money. My wedding is in March and my color is sage green. Anyone have any creative ideas?
TIA

Re: Placecards
I don't have great pictures, I hopefully will when my proofs come in but this is what I did: We bought a mirror and filled the top with river rocks and stuck the place cards in the rocks. We bought ivory colored place cards from michaels

Re: Placecards
I just made these DIY placecards (super easy).
All together my cost is going to be about $30 (and I'm definitely over quoting the price) for 125 placecards!!
The hole puncher is $10 Each sheet of cardstock is between 69 and 99 cents (without a sale) But knowing that you made something with your own hands is priceless (sorry, I had to LOL)
Here is the sample I just made! It's a rough first draft but you get the idea. I made about 10 of these in a half hour period and I got about 10 of them from one sheet.
My colors are very similar. I am doing a sage/clover green and ivory. I picked up these really cute cards from Michaels.
They are apart of a whole set, by Anne Griffin. They are called 'Floral Elegance'. I can't seem to google it right now, b/c it doesn't come up for some reason. I know that Michaels has a ton of them though. Maybe you can go and check them out. They are realy simple ivory colored cards, and the border/frame around the cards are of this green filigre floral type of a design. It's very pretty.

I looove this idea! I want to have symbols for the table 'names' and maybe i'll use different punches for each table!!! Thanks!
