placecards

Do you have a placecard for each guest or each couple. Example:

Mr. & Mrs. John Smith
or
Mr. John Smith
Mrs. Jennifer Smith
or
Mr. John Smith
Mrs. John Smith

I think I'm going to have to do one for every pair instead of each individual simply because some people did not give me their guests names. Despite there being a place to fill out the names of the people RSVPing. One friend even wrote 'and guest' on the card.

We were at a bat mitzvah a few weeks ago where there was a separate card for each individual and it was strange!

I think my plan is....

Married Guests will have one. Mr. & Mrs. John Smith

Guests with Dates (if we are friends with only one of them) will have one. Mr. John Smith & Miss Jane Doe
or if I am friends with the girl
Miss Jane Doe & Mr. John Smith
or if I don't know the guest name
Mr. John Smith & Guest

Situation where I am friends with both individually - each will get their own.


Kind of the same thing I did with invitations, if they got their own invite, they get their own place-card.

It should be per couple

I will be writing them like this:

Mr. & Mrs. John Smith
